The Kyle Rittenhouse trial is wrapping up and the Hot Takes and calling of racism are only escalating, as it seems the prosecution haven’t had many good days. As the feeling of an inevitable acquittal, on at least the heaviest charges, seems a sure thing, the rhetoric as to why the jury comes to that decision is the main discussion in Twitterverse.Continue reading “Twitter Mad – What the Twitter Woke Mob is Angry About Today”
Zimmerman Trial Tweets
Being based in Central Florida, WhiteDevilBlog has been inundated with coverage of the George Zimmerman trial for the last 2 weeks. You can’t help to be pulled into the chaos, and lines of division have been gouged across the racial boundaries. A fantastic case that is no different than hundreds of others, if not for the reversal of direction the white and black crime was committed. In fact the case was not even destined for court, let alone an arrest until the involvement of the countries top Race Baiters, Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson. The fact that a young unarmed black man, 17 year old Trayvon Martin, was killed by a White/Hispanic named George Zimmerman was too toxic to let pass. The original investigators deemed self defense in the shooting was plausible, and were taking too long, according to Sharpton, Jackson, and others, in issuing an arrest warrant for Zimmerman.
The National Spotlight was now on the case, and black celebrities and leaders began to show unity with the victim highlighted by posting pictures of themselves with hoodies. It also attracted the attention of the New Black Panthers, a group of open minded, peaceful blacks that wear some awesome costumes.
Gee, what a nice group. The New Black Panthers aren’t the focus of this post though. I just wanted to set the stage for what the trial has brought forth, and the trouble that is sure to follow. If George Zimmerman is found Not Guilty, will there be another riot like was seen after the Rodney King trial? Maybe one that’s even larger in scale that spreads across the nation? It’s a very good possibility. And as the trial has developed so far, it seems the State is having a difficult time proving their 2nd degree Murder Charge. Personally I believe the State over reached the charge. There is no question that Zimmerman shot, and killed Martin. The details are coming into play for Self Defense. The truth as always lies in the middle. The correct charge should have been Manslaughter, as the State is having difficulty proving intent. I’m concerned for what is going to happen after the trial. Let’s hope, I’m wrong.
Here are some tweets from those watching the trial that stood out to me over the last couple of weeks.
